Have you ever wished you could do something to alleviate the suffering of the Afghan people? Do you long to reach out to Afghan women? Well, now you can. Three women from Afghanistan have appealed to us: They want to attend the 2010 Circlework Leadership Training. We're mobilizing all our forces to help them, and hope you'll join us in our efforts!

Jalaja Bonheim, Founder/Director of the ICW, will be a part of this year's Leadership Tools for Women Conference. Her talk focuses on women's role in global peace and planetary healing. Where we stand right now, nothing is more important than cultivating a global community of empowered women. Sharing stories from her work in Israel, Palestine, and America, she emphasizes the crucial importance of helping women claim their voices and cultivating a sense of global sisterhood.

The free Inspiring Women tele-Summit begins Saturday, May 1st and runs until May 8th. Jalaja Bonheim will join other strong women in providing a robust program for women seeking to make a change in the world.
