I’ve resisted this blog for a long time, fearing it would be another nail in the coffin of my freedom, another “have-to.” Voice mails and my emails, Facebook and Twitter—where does it stop?
On the other hand, I love to write, I love to communicate, and I want to make my small contribution to our collective dialogue. I want people to know about Circlework. I want them to know what an incredible resource for healing it is, for nurturing ourselves, for finding peace in a crazy world, for sustaining our hope for the future, and for remembering the things that really matter to us.
In the end, the part of me that vetoed this blog and the part that was all for it struck a deal. The deal is this: If I find I enjoy writing it, I’ll continue. If it feels like a drag, I’ll stop. I’ve also invited my advanced students to contribute their own writings and musings, whenever they felt inspired to do so. hope you like what you read, and that if you do, you’ll bookmark this blog and tell your friends about it.
